Lodging and Meals for Snowmobilers

We're in snow country and the
snowmobiling is fantastic!

The Triple Peak Lodge is located within 15 miles of the Wyoming Range trail system, which offers over 300 miles of interconnected groomed and ungroomed trails. You can ride right from the Lodge to this trail network that runs from Alpine to Afton to within 15 miles of Kemmerer and LaBarge. This extensive trail network takes riders through the scenic Greys River drainage between the Salt River Range and Wyoming Range mountains. Trailheads entrances and parking areas are located throughout the system as well as Warming Huts and restrooms. We offer overnight accommodations and meals and can make arrangements for your snowmachines to be waiting for you up at the Lodge. We can accommodate up to 16 guests and welcome group rentals of the entire Lodge for Snowmobile Clubs or group gatherings. Trail maps are available at the Lodge.

Let us be your basecamp for convenient lodging and meals while you snowmachine till your heart's content on our fantastic snow! For those who prefer trail riding, you'll find the trails uncrowded and the scenery beautiful. The more adventurous in your group will find challenging hills and acres of off-trail riding to explore.

Our area offers deep snow, beautiful scenery, and fantastic off-trail riding. Snow depths run from 3 feet to 12 feet at elevations of 6,000 - 10,000 feet. The season lasts from late November through May, depending on the area. Even later in the spring we can have great snowmobiling up high.

Lodging for Individuals: We have 8 guest rooms in our Lodge that are available for lodging by the night for single or double occupancy. Rooms are available with or without meals. We do not take drop-ins, so please make your reservations in advance.

Groups: Our entire lodge is available for rent for your group function for only $750/day and one night! We can accommodate up to 16 people and provide lodging and meals. Call or e-mail us for more information.

The Wyoming Range offers 283 miles of groomed and 54 miles of ungroomed marked trails. The trail system connects from Alpine to Afton to the Viva Naughton Trailhead 15 miles north of Kemmerer and 12 miles northwest of LaBarge. Trails can be accessed from the east side from Daniel or Big Piney, from Alpine or Afton on the west, and LaBarge and Kemmerer to the south. The Pine Creek Ski Area is also accessible through the Wyoming Range Snowmobile trail system. We are also within 20 miles of the Continental Divide Snowmachine Trail.

These trails take riders along the scenic Greys River, a narrow valley with towering mountains on both sides. This area receives light trail use and wildlife is frequently seen. Warming Huts are located on the south end at Poison Creek, the LaBarge Guard Station and Smith's Fork Parking Area. On the north end of the trail system the Blind Bull Warming Hut is located at the head end of Blind Bull and Horse Creeks.

The Wyoming Range trail system is maintained through cooperative efforts of the Wyoming Department of State Parks & Cultural Resources/Division of State Parks & Historical Sites, the US Forest Servie, the Bureau of Land Management, Sublette County, Lincoln county and local snowmobile clubs. The main trails are groomed every week and the secondary trails are groomed every other week or as needed. Snowmobiling is allowed in Pinedale, Big Piney, LaBarge, Alpine, Afton and Kemmerer. All offer access to trailheads on the east side of the range.

User Fee Required
Resident and nonresident snowmobile user fees are required by Wyoming State Law. These annual user fee revenues are used by the Snowmobile Trails Fund for trail grooming and maintenance. Proof of payment is in the form of a decal which must be displayed on the exterior of the snow machine. Decals are available for $15 from licensed permit selling agents across the state. Non-residents may order maps and decal by mail or phone from the Wyoming Department of State Parks & Cultural Resources, Attn-snowmobile registration, 122 W 25th Street, Herschler Bldg. 1FE, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002.
